3. Show an actual example of how a Branch Office activated their BCP and how another Branch Office extended their support.
4. Highlight the importance of BCP in public service continuity.

Webinar on Information Security Policy Standards and Implementing Guidelines
The webinar aims to reiterate the PPG 351-19 on Information Security Policy including its amendments and to cascade the recently approved Office Order on Information Security Standards and Implementing Guidelines. The GSIS Cloud-based Proxy with Web Isolation and the Encryption projects of ISO will also be discussed.
Further, attendance to this webinar will emphasize to the GSIS workforce the following:
- The need to protect information;
- The need to reduce the risk of human error;
- The need to be aware of information security and data privacy risks and concerns; and
- The need to be aware of information security policies and guidelines, regulations, responsibilities and liabilities.

GSIS Quality Management System (QMS) Awareness
The module is intended to equip newly hired employees (permanent and coterminous) with knowledge on the rationale and importance of the established GSIS QMS. Taking the module will help you appreciate your roles and contribution in ensuring that GSIS employees adhere to the context of our organization’s QMS and the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.

Collaborative Communication
This program is designed for all GSIS personnel with Salary Grade Levels 16 to 20 and aims to help participants adapt a collaborative style of communication to proactively create an engaging environment. It will also provide them the opportunity to recognize relational links, utilize thinking patterns and tools to overcome communication challenges and build teamwork. Introduction to up-to-date digital collaboration tools that will support employees to productively work in a hybrid workplace arrangement will be discussed to address communication challenges at work and promote team engagement.
Overarching Objective:
We aim to strengthen the competencies (attitude, skills and knowledge) on collaborative communication in order to connect better, work better, and be better contributors and leaders of GSIS.

Data, Don’t Breach! Data Breach Awareness and Updates on Information Security and Data Privacy
The live webinar was conducted on 22 July 2022 (Friday), 3:30pm-5:00pm via Zoom and streamed live via the GSIS FB page Kawani Chronicles.
This webinar aims to spread consciousness on the prevalent data breaches, its consequences and impact on the GSIS, including the corresponding penalties and how to prevent its occurrence and the current reporting procedure. This will also include updates on information security and data privacy.
With the increasing incident report on data breaches in GSIS for the 1st Semester of CY 2022, it is imperative to update/reiterate thereby reinforcing mindfulness of our employees and job order personnel on information security and data privacy, in addition to ISO’s regular information security advisories. Thus, the attendance of all GSIS executives, employees and job order personnel is required. Attendance to and completion of this program will earn the participants 1.5-hour training credits.

Building Resilience and Preventing Burnout
A one hour introduction to the Inner Resilience Training Program, a course tailored toward the use of mindfulness and self-compassion practices for adapting positively and constructively when faced with adversity in professional setting, and derived from Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) eight-week program.
Facilitator of this session is Ms. Ma. Margarita "Tucci" R. Reyes who is a Certified Mindfulness Trainer.

Orientation on Enhanced Competency Framework (Managers & Division Chiefs)
The Enhanced GSIS Competency Framework (CF), approved under Board Resolution No. 177 dated 14 December 2021, was part of the Human Resources Office (HRO) strategic initiatives and performance scorecard last year. New sets of competencies and corresponding key actions have been identified after GSIS achieved the final average rating required by the GCG and in consideration of the emerging competencies of employees brought about by the current work environment.
This orientation on the Enhanced GSIS CF aims to familiarize employees and officials with the new competency model. This is also in preparation for the upcoming baseline competency assessment that will be implemented starting July 13, 2022.

2022 Summit on Digital Information Security for GSIS Employees
The 2022 Summit on Digital Information Security for GSIS Employees is a program in partnership with the GSIS Committee on Anti Red Tape and the Information Security Office.
